RiverCon Entry Form Instructions
- Fill out the Contestant Registration Form (above)
- Leave the space for Contestant Number blank. RiverCon staff will assign this to you at Model Registration.
- List all models you are entering, one model per line. Note the scale and category number for each in the appropriate spaces. Category numbers can be found on the “Contest Categories” sheet. If you have a question about which category your model belongs in, wait to complete this until you actually register the model; RiverCon staff will help you determine the appropriate category.
- We’ve added a Total Cost Column to help figure out your total cost based on how many models you enter. For example, you enter six models. Then your total cost would be $21: $10 basic fee + $2 for the first thru fifth model ($10 in this case) + $1 for the sixth model = $21).
- Please PRINT LEGIBLY (that means so we can read it!) all information.
- For each model you have listed on the Contestant Registration Form, complete a Model Place Card Form.
- For each model you have listed on the Contestant Registration Form, complete a Model Place Card Form.
- Note the Model Number, Category number, scale, and name/description for each. These should correspond to those recorded on the Contestant Registration Form.
- RiverCon staff will add Contestant Number to this form during Registration process and must be included before you placing it with your entry.
- Be sure to check the boxes in the “Comments” section if applicable, in order to make sure your model is considered for any of the special awards. RiverCon staff members are not responsible for any omissions resulting from incomplete/inaccurately completed entry forms.
- On the bottom portion of the Model Place Card Form, be sure to record your cell phone number. This is in case judges have a question about your model or entry forms and need to contact you.
- Again, please PRINT LEGIBLY all information in block letters!
- When you have completed all entry forms, turn in the Contestant Registration Form and Model Place Card Forms to Registration staff.
- The Registration staff will assign you a Contestant Number and annotates that on you forms.
- The Registration staff will keep your Contestant Registration Form for tracking purposes and return your Model Place Card Forms.
- Place each Model Place Card Form under the corresponding model in the appropriate area on the show tables. RiverCon staff will help you find the correct area to display your model(s).
You’re done!
